Bookfair will run October 9-13. BMS family night will be October 12, 4:30-6:30. Accepted payments-cash, check, credit card or e-wallet. Any funds left on a previous e-wallet account has been moved to a scholastic "gift card." Today we will be holding our first PTO meeting at 3PM. We look forward to seeing you at BMS. The meeting will be held in the Media Center.

Tuesday, August 22nd from 11AM-2PM Ms. Couch will be welcoming incoming middle school students who are new to the district. This event will be taking place at Batavia Elementary School's lobby.

Campus parking and shuttle lot maps for the home football game on Friday, August 18th. Parking will be extremely limited at Bulldog Place due to construction, so please plan on arriving early and using the shuttle lot.



The Coalition for a Drug-Free Clermont County has engaged in activities with our students all year. In coordination with BMS Staff Appreciation Week, they sponsored a Chick-Fil-A luncheon to show us their appreciation. The lunch was delicious! A huge THANK YOU from our staff!




Mrs. Copestick's classes visited with their first grade book buddies today. The middle schoolers helped the first graders with their "Summer Bucket Lists" and read with them. Both groups of students are always eager to see each other.The time was enjoyed by all!





There are two wonderful opportunities for 8th grade parents to help BMS send off their students! If you are interested in joining the 8th grade at Elite from 10:30 to 12:30 AND you have a background check on file at the Board Office, contact Mrs. Chambers at chambers_j@bataviaschools.org. This deadline is May 12. If you are unable to attend but would still like to help, we would love donations and decorations!

BMS would like to invite you to our District Art Show on Tuesday, May 2nd from 5 PM - 7 PM. Please plan to park at the elementary lot and walk over to BHS. We hope to see you there.


The Batavia High School Drama Department is excited to put on 'The Music Man' as the spring musical! Shows will be Thursday 3/23, Friday 3/24, and Saturday 3/25 at 7PM, and Sunday 3/26 at 2PM. These will be the final high school theater shows on the elementary stage before moving to our new theater home at the new BHS next year!

The NJHS food drive brought out heart & competitive spirit @ BMS.2,727 non-perishable items were collected for Batavia House of Peace, the YWCA battered women and children's shelter that works with families in crisis. Royer’s class won the competition by collecting 731 items!



Tuesday night was an amazing night of band performances at BMS. Congrats to all our musicians!




BMS staff was excited to take part in the beam signing event today. We cannot wait to move into 2 Bulldog Place. 🐾




BMS students attended the Hope Squad Conference. With over 700 MS and HS students, they were able to spend time collaborating and networking with other Hope squad students from 62 schools. They are bringing back a wealth of knowledge for spreading hope and fostering community.

We want to show that even a small act of love can make a big difference. Oct. 3 - 10, students have the opportunity to donate new, unused socks to help others in need. The socks are collected in first bell classes. The top three donating classes will earn a treat!
